PasturePulse is a web application. This means there is no installation and it is accessible from any device that has a browser and internet.

Yes! How to do this varies by device and browser type.

For Android, navigate to app.pasturepulse.com in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top right. Select "Add to Home Screen" from the menu. Now edit the name for the home screen shortcut to “PasturePulse” and tap “Add.”

For Iphone, navigate to app.pasturepulse.com in Safari. Tap the share button in the toolbar. Select “Add to Home Screen” from the share sheet (if you don’t see this option, tap “Edit Actions” at the bottom of the share sheet and add it from there). Next, change the name of the shortcut to “PasturePulse” and tap “Add.”

Yes, PasturePulse offers a free plan for herds with under 10 active goats. This free plan allows you to explore the app's features and see if it's a good fit for your needs. Please note that some features may be limited in the free plan.

No, a credit card is not required unless you upgrade to a higher tiered plan.

All payment information is handled through Stripe, a third party payment processing company. We do not collect any credit card information on our side. Stripe utilizes industry-standard encryption protocols to safeguard sensitive information during transmission.

Active animals are determined by their “animal status” in their profile. Those with the statuses “In Herd” or “Undecided” will count as active. Animals with the statuses “Sold” or “Passed Away” will NOT be counted as active. Note that any kids entered as part of a breeding will automatically be marked as “Undecided” until their status is updated in their profile.
